Ashly Wenzel NMT| NeuroMyoFascia Specialist SRT Therapy Co-Founder Movement Therapist Certified Pilates Teacher
Hi! My name is Ashly Wenzel. My life passion is helping others to alleviate pain and move joyfully. In 2002, I started as an Athletic Coach, then Pilates Teacher and Fascial Stretch Specialist. I was a national champion Synchronized Swimmer and Triathlete until I was hit by a truck while riding my triathlon racing bike. Years of surgery, rehab, and pain changed my life perspective and path. My own recovery lead me to pursue becoming a NeuroMyoFascia Specialist and co-develop SRT to bring you our loving therapeutic modality. I feel truly privileged to help others in their healing and share my knowledge with like-minded practitioners that want to make this world a better place.
Ashly's life passion is helping others to alleviate pain, enhance movement, understand their bodies, and experience how they can improve their lives by finding hope with NeuroMyoFascia Therapy. Ashly was a national champion synchronized swimmer and a triathlete. With a lifelong desire to help others and a fascination with anatomy and physiology, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology: Pre-Med from Grand Canyon University. Shortly after graduation in 2011, Ashly was hit by a truck while riding her triathlon racing bike. Years of surgery, rehab, and pain changed her life perspective and career path completely. Pilates helped her to move, understand, and appreciate her body again and she became a PMA Certified Pilates Teacher in 2013. After living in chronic pain that seemed hopeless for years, Ashly tried a gentle fascia therapy as a last resort and found lasting, healing relief for the first time.
In 2018, Ashly Co-Founded SRT Therapy with Chris Kalisz. SRT level II is designed as a continuing education course for all Stretch Therapists, Movement Therapists, Massage Therapists, Acupuncturists, Chiropractors, Physical Therapists, and Bodyworkers who want to add a little more gentle NeuroMyoFascia relaxation techniques into their practice. Ashly feels truly privileged to help others in their healing and share her knowledge with like-minded practitioners that want to make this world a better place.
Marilyn Sheets Cryan, RD | Registered Dietitian
If you ask anyone who knows me, they would probably tell you that I was born to do what I do! My biggest life interests have revolved around the subjects of people, food, and feeling better. I received my BA in Spanish Language and Culture at Pace University in New York City before enrolling at NYU to study Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics. Alongside my clinical training, I worked with several holistic nutrition mentors who helped me merge the clinical and alternative aspects of health—a balance which I strive to maintain in my nutrition work today. Before starting Sheets Nutrition, I worked in several practice areas including high-risk pregnancy, inpatient/outpatient, and corporate health.
My lifelong passion for food, wellness and healing has led me to believe that there is no one-size-fits-all solution. My approach takes into account the entire person—physical, mental and emotional. I do not believe in “dieting” and prefer to focus on what you can do to feel better rather than focusing on restriction. Outside work I like to travel, explore nature, and spend time with my two boys, Oliver and Alex. I look forward to supporting you in your journey to better health and wellness

Jennifer Douglass | Thermography: Radiation-free Alternative in Diagnostic Imaging
Welcome to East Valley Thermography. I’m so glad you’re here! My name is Jennifer Douglass and my personal story is what led me to start this business, and it is what drives my passion for educating others about thermography!
In 2014, I received a breast cancer diagnosis – more specifically, invasive ductal carcinoma. This is not the kind of news anyone is ever prepared for. In fact, I don’t think most people ever really contemplate receiving that kind of news. What I can tell you is that it’s a very vulnerable place to be. With so much fear and uncertainty, I put my health in the hands of my healthcare professionals and followed their advice for surgery and radiation treatment followed by oral chemotherapy drugs. While there may be aspects of those decisions I regret, they are what led me to this place in my life and I am most grateful for that.
I am a researcher by nature, and my mission following my cancer diagnosis and treatments was to look for ways to improve my overall health at its current state. A top priority was to minimize my future radiation exposure. And, it was through that research that I stumbled upon this non-invasive, radiation-free diagnostic tool that is like no other imaging device on the market. At that time, and like most people I encounter, thermography was not something I'd ever heard of, nor was it an option ever offered by my traditional, Western-trained physicians as an alternative diagnostic tool. From the point of discovery forward, it has become my mission to bring awareness of this incredible and underused technology to the forefront of mainstream healthcare as an adjunctive option in diagnostic imaging. The applications for this technology are numerous and go far beyond simply detecting breast disease! I hope you will read further to learn how thermography might aid you on your own journey to improved health.
I received my education, training, and certification through the American College of Clinical Thermology.
